Harold and Maude! I knew that you'd list that one! What a great movie.
Jay, I've attempted to watch 8 1/2 while doing homework twice now and failed. Such a beautiful movie, which requires full attention!
Dead Man Red Beard Fist Full of Dollars Citizen Kane Who Framed Roger Rabbit
I heart Huckabees is one of the few movies I can watch over and over and quote every line. Semi-dark comedy mixed with an existential crisis seems to be a good recipe for a movie. They quote a contemporary thinker who I am interested in Joseph Campbell, and include a hilarious reference to Plato's Allegory of the cave. Hoo-rah.

CLUELESS!!!
8 1/2 (Fellini)
Lost Book Found (Jem Cohen)
Weekend (Godard)
Persona (Bergman)
Untitled [For Marilyn] (Brakhage)
Eraserhead (David Lynch)
I'm a sentimental bastard, but I'd definitely have to throw The Elephant Man on this list as well.
@Kous, nice stems.
